Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Refreshed, relaxed and headed home. We are currently on our last leg of the flight home chasing an orange sunset towards Minneapolis. Monday, August 15, 2011. It was hot, the food sometimes unfamiliar, sleeping quarters less tha ideal, the planned project undone, an alternate one chosen and completed.
Welcome to City Hills! Three years ago a trip to Knoxville changed our lives. Sounds crazy, right? On that trip we felt that one day we would come back and plant a church in the city. So, after lots of prayer and preparation, the vision God gave to us is becoming a reality and we are amazed! BRANDON and KARA SHANKS.
Last weekend was just one of the most brilliant weekends ever. Me and my hunk got married. We had less than 100 people join us on both days, which meant we were surrounded by the people we love most in the world.
